Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings serves up its latest bigroom monster in the form of the young Tony Romera’s Pandor.
Every year or so, a minimal electro house track will just take the dance floor by surprise with a drop that may be composed of nothing more than a solid kick and expert bass synths. Earlier in 2012, we saw Nari & Milani pull this off with the massive Atom, but now we’re about to undergo the same experience with Tony Romera’s Pandor. The track is fueled by a progressive melody that sticks very similar to Nicky Romero’s blend of chords, but then a completely unexpected drop gets blasted with a beat strong enough to pump up even the pickiest of audiences.
