As if things could get any bigger for Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso picks things up with the help of Tommy Trash on the massive festival anthem “Reload.”
There are some synth riffs that can just get permanently ingrained in your head for days on end due to how catchy they are. We were shown a prime example of that with Seb Ingrosso and Alesso’s “Calling” back at the beginning of this year/end of last, but the SHM third is back again with a tremendous progressive house banger that’s already proved to be one of the biggest things Ingrosso’s ever done. Combining “Calling” style setups with a bouncy central riff that explodes with bigroom synths during the drop, “Reload” is an instant classic, even though some could argue that it doesn’t feature enough Tommy Trash electro in it. Nevertheless, the duo have created a monstrous track that very well might be one of the best of year, especially given the audience response when Avicii performed the song two nights in a row at Radio City Music Hall. While the release of “Reload” was delayed due to various technical difficulties, you can finally pick it up here and listen to the preview below.
